Honda fejrer produktionen af bil nr. 2 mio.

I februar kunne Honda of the UK Manufacturing (HUM) fejre produktionen af bil nr. 2 mio. på fabrikken i Swindon. Virksomheden kunne samtidig annoncere planer for nyinvesteringer på £80 mio. i opgradering og forbedring af produktionsprocesserne.
Der investeres i: Plasticproduktionen, hvor der støbes og males kofangere til Civic og CR-V samt et nyt støbeanlæg, som sætter HUM i stand til at støbe dieselblokke. Der investeres hele £50 mio. i svejse- og maleteknologi, der skal gøre produktionen mere effektiv og fleksibel.
